So, I needed a new car - the old Impreza was almost 20 years old - still going strong, but had paint flaking off and the exposed areas were rusting;
the windscreen had a lot of micro-abrasion making it difficult to see at night; plus the sun-visor just wouldn't stay in place.
I also wanted a manual, but new Subarus only come with boring CVT - except the BRZ and WRX - so there wasn't much choice
